Delight in the rich and savory flavors of this Philly Cheesesteak Dip! A creamy, cheesy blend of steak, onions, green peppers, and multiple cheeses that's perfect for dipping with toasted hoagie buns and pairing with Cabernet Sauvignon.
Heat pan to medium high heat and melt butter. Salt steak on both sides and then sear for around 1 minute. Flip and sear the other side. Remove from heat. Let rest for around 5 minutes and then chop into tiny pieces.
Turn heat to low medium and add garlic, onion, and peppers to the pan. Season with salt and pepper and sauté until softened and browning (5-10 minutes).
Add cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, steak, and cheese to the pan and stir to incorporate.
Transfer dip to an oven-safe dish and top with grated provolone.
Slice hoagie buns into desired size/thickness and butter one or both sides.
Broil both the dip (to melt the cheese) and the buns (to toast) on high for 2-3 minutes (check regularly to not burn the buns).
Enjoy immediately with a big glass of Cabernet Sauvignon!
